The water in Banja Ždrelo has a temperature of 29 to 38 degrees and is known for its healing properties. It contains thermo-mineral ingredients that help in the treatment of various skin diseases, rheumatic diseases and problems with the locomotor apparatus. Also, chilled water can be used to treat gastritis.

Recommendations and warnings
Due to the high temperatures of the thermal water, staying in it is not recommended for people with cardiovascular problems. However, for everyone else, Spa Ždrelo is the right place for relaxation, healing and recreation.
Swimming pools and spa center
There are six swimming pools within the spa, two of which are closed and four are open. The pool’s opening hours are every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., allowing visitors to enjoy day and night swimming.
In addition to the swimming pool, visitors can use the sauna, jacuzzi, massage tubs and pools with underwater massage.
Climate and water characteristics
Spa Ždrelo has a moderate-continental climate, and its thermal waters maintain a constant temperature of around 40 degrees throughout the year. The water comes from a depth of 180 meters, where it reaches a temperature of more than 80 degrees, to maintain an ideal 40 degrees on the surface, suitable for swimming at any time of the year.
